Shipping

Registered Post

For safety, when shipping your order to us, please use Registered Post. All finished orders returned to you by post are shipped by Registered Post within Australia and the equivalent for overseas.

Drop-offs and pick-ups

If you live in the Brisbane, Burpengary, Nanango or Jimboomba area of Queensland, you can drop off and pick up your order. Some people ship their order to us and pick it up when it's done. That saves them the return shipping/handling cost. Contact us if you'd like more information.

Packing photographs for shipping

To help keep our prices low, whenever possible, we will use the same packaging we receive your order in to ship it back to you. Please keep this in mind when packing your order to us.

Loose photographs

1. Put your completed Order Form and any instructions to us inside an envelope.
2. Put all the photographs that will comfortably fit into a large enough envelope that will allow all the photographs to lay flat and tape it shut.
3. Put all large photographs between two pieces of stiff cardboard and tape the cardboard edges together so the photographs can't slide out.
4. Place everything (including the Order Form envelope) together and wrap securely in bubble wrap or similar packing material.
5. Use a box that is larger than your wrapped bundle and spread layer of "peanuts" or other filler on the bottom.
6. NOTE: If you plan to also have a Slideshow made from these photographs, remember to number your photos on the back them BEFORE wrapping so we will know what order they go in.
7. If you're also shipping anything else with the photographs, wrap them separately before putting them into the box with the photographs.
8. Cover everything with more filler until the box is completely full. The items inside should not be able to move around when you tilt the box. If they can, add more filler.
9. Seal the box with strong packing tape.
10. Write  FRAGILE - DO NOT BEND OR DROP  on the outside of the box.
11. Make sure your return address is on the outside of the box.

Return time

For straight transfers of photographs, it usually takes 7 to 10 working days from the time we receive it to send it back to you. The time varies depending on our backlog, and of course the size of your order.

For retouched photographs, the time it takes depends greatly on how much work needs to be done to each photograph in your order. If you need an estimate on when the work will be finished, contact us after we have received your order so we can see how much work is involved.

We will do our best to return your completed order as quickly as possible. Please note, we are NOT responsible for postal delays.

We overheard an Aussie telling a tourist the other day that a kangaroo delivers his mail in its pouch. We definitely are not responsible if you mail to us this way.

Christmas Presents
If your order is a Christmas present, please send it at least 5 weeks before the date you need it. We receive a lot of orders during this period and cannot guarantee it will be in your hands for Christmas otherwise.
